George David Clark

George David Clark is the author of Reveille (Arkansas, 2015), winner of the Miller Williams Prize, and Newly Not Eternal (forthcoming from LSU). Among other honors, he has received the Oliver B. O’Connor Fellowship at Colgate University, the Walter E. Dakin Fellowship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Lily Postdoctoral Fellowship at Valparaiso University. His poems appear in such journals as Agni, Crazyhorse, Georgia Review, Gettysburg Review, Poetry Northwest, and Southern Review; and his work has been honored with prizes from the ALSCW, Narrative Magazine, Pleiades, Southern Poetry Review, and other publications. He studied at Union University (BA), University of Virginia (MFA), and Texas Tech University (PhD), and today he teaches creative writing and literature as an associate professor of English at Washington & Jefferson College. He has edited 32 Poems since 2011.
