The Interlude

Husband scored big points for taking care of the wee one at the pool while I stayed home to do a one-hour yoga routine, eat without anyone sitting in my lap, and read.

I skipped what looked like a good poetry reading by A. Van Jordan to have time alone.

Lately, life has been a series of vacations, trips, festivities and generally pleasant interruptions. I took this writing break after a long bout of constant and difficult writing work. Although a nice break, I’m ready to get back to the pencil.
