The blog blew up yesterday and the theme I used for the design disappeared. So, I’ll have to start over with uploading the theme and so on. In the meantime, enjoy the bare bones look!
Check out the David Orr essay in the NYTimes today–a rather dashing rejoinder to Dana Goodyear’s article on the Poetry Foundation that focuses on the New Yorker’s own, ahem, editorial biases. Not that it addresses the larger issues of the Poetry Foundation, but still, hard to dismiss in the argument that there are no true giants nowadays in the poetry world…just institutions coasting on past reputation.
