At the suggestion of EM and SB, I read the New Yorker article about John Barr. I do suffer from a bout of “New Yorker guilt” — a disease that happens when too many go unread for too long. I’m not sure what to make of the article and Barr, except that a lot of people seem to get hot under the collar about the money the Poetry Foundation received.

I don’t have all my thoughts sorted out at the moment — and maybe I don’t want to sort them out in public — but listening to the controversary is certainly interesting.
