I am beyond flattered to have my work receive such careful attention. I understand your hesitance to call the poem feminist and I so appreciate that you went there anyway. I’m not particularly comfortable with the word as one with which to identify myself, but if my poems can exist more boldly in the world than I do, I am happy to stand behind them.
