by 32poems on March 1, 2006

I walked into the kitchen this morning and found my cat — dead — on the kitchen floor. She had not been sick.

Deb, I’m sorry that Seamus has passed. I used to love your stories of how she would always find a way to get into her food. She was absolutely adorable.

If you need someone to talk/vent to, you know where to find me.

Oh I’m so sorry. It’s always heart-wrenching to lose a pet, but it must have been such a shock for it to happen so unexpectedly. Hugs to you and your family.

Oh, I’m so sorry. It’s so hard to accept when it is unexpected like that. I hope you can find some sense of peace. Be good to yourself.

Robert March 1, 2006 at 7:13 pm

I’m really sorry. That’s so awful. One of our cats, Larry, is 16 years old and has a lot of health problems, but I think it makes it somewhat easier when you have time to prepare yourself.

Diane K. Martin March 1, 2006 at 9:19 pm

But one would think he did not suffer, at least. And that’s a good thing.

Marybad March 2, 2006 at 6:04 am

You are all in our thoughts. If you need to pet some kitties, you’re welcome to come by.

I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty D: I have 4 cats now, but when I was little we had around 40 cats-mostly just stray cats that needed a place to stay and food to eat- in our garage, and we since we left it open so they were free to roam about a lot would go out at night and killed by coyotes. I have a cat who is around 10 or 11 now, and that’s pretty old for a cat! I’m surprised she doesn’t have any health problems. It’s probably because she is an indoor and outdoor kitty so she gets lots of exercise, and she loves to go hunting.
I hope that you’re doing okay after your loss D:
