From the Keys all the way to where I live at the tip end of the Panhandle, Florida is a long state. Most of my images are of Longleaf pine trees, wildflowers, gopher tortoises, white-tailed deer, blue herons and the occasional coyote. The “poisonous snakes” sign makes me think of the lovely small lakes at Mayo Clinic’s Jacksonville campus. The signs say “Do Not Feed Wildlife.” What they should say is “Do Not Walk Your Small Dog Near The Water.” Look closely at dusk and you can see the gator eyes. . .
